Cassi Mangrus is the owner and artist of Sweet Candy Lotus. It was created with humanity in mind. Kindness, happiness, anything considered ‘sweet’ is what I try to encourage with my colorful creations! I’ve drawn and created things from as long back as I can remember, and I have found that it’s a fantastic way to calm my mind or cope with any stressors. Cassi currently does shows in North Carolina. She’s always wanted to make an impact in her community, and she is excited for this opportunity.

Weaver, Artist, Gardener, Mother, Oma. Wendy is a retired art educator who is proud of sending 32 years of artists into the world. She has always had a special love for weaving. Weaving as a personal art form enables her to use nature, texture and different types of looms to create functional and non functional pieces.

Once students learn the basics they can explore using different types of weaving materials, color, textures, and various types of looms. Their weaving projects can be something functional or something whimsical to hang on a wall. The possibilities are endless! Weaving is truly one of Wendy’s favorite things to teach!
